道人善

尊敬的各位學长:您们好!
本週課堂主題是:道人善與感恩

什麼是富貴
有錢不是富, 知足是富
有權不是貴, 受人尊敬是貴 (馬丁.路德.  孔子 受人尊敬)

[複習]
幸福:
媽媽給孩子吃糖果, 孩子自己吃, 覺得很甜 -- 甜一時
                                 孩子把糖讓給媽媽 -- 甜一生

[經文學習]
道人善, 即是善. 人知之, 愈思勉

對待別人的善舉, 有四種態度:
- 不道人善 (故事: John Powell and his father from book "The secret of staying love" P. 68)
- 不真心道善 (心裡嫉妒, 或恭維別人以達到個人目的 -- 狐狸與烏鴉的故事)
- 偷懶道善 -- 評估型讚賞 (您太好了, 孩子你真乖, Bravo, Good job!, 等等). 道善人是真誠的, 但不知如何具體表達.
- 真誠地具體地道善. (The formula "When you ... I feel ... because ...." can be helpful when you send descriptive recognition)
例子
When you wrote letters to me each week during my sickness, I felt less lonely. (Instead of saying : it's so nice of you)
When you worked overtime to type that report, I felt very appreciative because  the proposal might not have been considered if it arrived late.
A wonderful book People skills: how to assert yourself, listen to others, and resolve conflict illustrates the difference between 評估型讚賞 (Evaluative praise) and 具體地道善. Please read a story of Pablo Casals in P181 of this book (Open above link and search "Pablo" ).

別人的善舉給自己帶來了幫助, 需要感恩道謝. 我們要有一顆感恩的心 (從感恩出發, 從謙卑做起 -- 馬英九)

[教學目標]

讓孩子們學會在生活中鼓勵別人的善行學會適時地, 真心地, 具體地表達感謝.

[回家作業]
1. 抄寫所學經文十遍.
2. 找到一件感恩的事, 下週與班上同學分享.
